This course is tailored for the absolute novice, DIY enthusiast or property developer who would like to learn how to design and fit a kitchen..

You will also learn how to plan, project manage and install your own kitchen at a fraction of the price charged by a third party installer. The design session will cover the basic ‘triangle concept’ i.e. designing your kitchen layout to provide the best economic use of the main work centres.

• How to set out, fix and level all the units

• How to cut different types of worktops for sinks and hobs

• How to install sinks, taps and hobs

• How to cut butt and scribe joints in worktops

• How to fit end panels

• How to use a router and jig

• How to install kitchen appliances

• How to finish the kitchen properly i.e. fitting handles, adjusting doors etc
